Rinca Island Tour- Rinca Island is one of the main islands of Komodo National Park. Famous for some of the world’s best dive sites and their popular inhabitant – the Komodo dragon – the area attracts thousands of tourists each year. Rinca Island is one of the most visited places too in Komodo National Park, even though it is smaller than Komodo Island where the Komodo dragons can also be found. This island is a good alternative to crowded Komodo Island and takes only 2,5 hours from Labuan bajo.
Despite the invasion of tourists, you can still find some quiet and remote areas on Rinca Island. The islands’ interiors consist mostly of dry forests, where you can also encounter other animals than the Komodo dragon: water buffaloes, birds, pigs, and deer. The islands also offer unique beaches and good options for trekking.
Trekking on Rinca Island starts from the ticket office at Loh Buaya. You also have the option to choose between three trails. The shortest trek takes 30 minutes. It is an easy, shaded walk that passes an artificial waterhole before ascending to a small hill with a view over the bay. The one-hour medium trek winds between dragon nests and out into the sunshine across an exposed savannah that is studded with lontar palms. For the best opportunity to see dragons and their prey, choose the two-hour trek past a permanent waterhole and across steep, exposed slopes that offer breathtaking views.

14:00: Swimming and snorkeling in Kelor Island.
15:00: Depart to Bidadari/Angel Island.
16:00: Swimming and snorkeling in Bidadari/Angel Island.
17:30: Back to Labuan Bajo.
18:00: transferred to your hotel (end program).
11:00: Pick up from your hotel/airport and direct transferred to harbor.
12:00: Get on our speed boat and cruise to Kelor Island.
12:30: Swimming and snorkel around 1 hour.
13:30: transfer to Menjerite Bay
13:40: snorkeling at Menjerite Bay
14:30 Continue to Rinca Island (Lunch time)
15:30: Trekking in Rinca Island to see activities of Komodo Dragons and their nest in their pure environmental habitat. During your time there, you will be guided by local guide called Ranger.
17:20 Transferred to Kalong Island.
18:00: Sunset time at Kalong Island to see thousands of Fruit Bats (Flying bats) coming out from their nests.
18:30: Back to Labuan Bajo.
19:00: Transferred to your hotel (end program).

0.00 – 1.00 hr. – disembark from Cruise Ship to jetty at Loh Buaya Rinca Island
1.00 – 1.30 hrs. – small briefing by Tour Guide or Ranger before starting the tour
1.30 – 3.30 hrs. – 1 ½ – 2 hours trekking to spot Komodo Dragons and other wild animals
3.30 – 4.30 hrs. – Return to Jetty for embarkation by tenders to cruise ship.
